Question on sociology test:

What is true love? Provide an example.

Mark's answer: True love is when you can hate the person you're with and still not want anyone else.

I prefer my answer to the whole "stars-in-their-eyes" thing. It just seems more realistic.

I needed a mental health day, so i called my brother. We're close but we never really hang out, so i thought we could do something. Fine. It was my mom's idea. She's been worried bout me ever since our fight in friday. So worried that she beat Yevgeniy with a pillow to wake him up and get him to the phone.

"Hey, Yev" i said. "let's hang out."

"No, cracker." he said. "I ain't got no scrilla. Like whoa!"

My mother, so happy that her two boys were not yelling obscenities at each other or trying to bite off one another's respective limbs and appendages turned on the speaker phone and said

"WHAT SCRILLA? I GIVE SCRILLA!!"

sometimes i really like my family. Even if they are all on crack and i may be the closest thing to normal that they have. But don't tell them that. They think they're the Cleavers.
